Flats and Backcountry fishing Report

Here in Islamorada the inshore fishing has been on fire with plenty of opportunity for spring Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit. This last month we have been seeing good numbers of Bonefish around the Islamorada area fishing much of the flats in the downtown area. We have been finding good numbers of tarpon giving fly anglers plenty of shots at fish in that 50 to 80lb class. As for the permit they are getting ready to transition from the flats making there way offshore and in to the gulf for there spawning season. ​
