Hot weather and good fishing, not a bad way to start off the New Year. This years winter fishery is more likely to be confused with our fall fishing. Plenty of tarpon, snook, redfish, and trout around the back country of the Everglades National park. For the anglers looking to have a full day of rod bending action, the spanish mackerel have been out in full force.
